Contemplating what I will be doing in the next few years has brought me to this point. Do I want to continue in the homeschooling world? What will I do? Will I homeschool my grandchildren? Or at least help? Should I leave this all behind and start on a new adventure?
I'm sure I'm not the only veteran homeschooler contemplating this. This world has changed so much since I started 19 years ago. People don't say, "Is it legal?", like they did when I began. Everyone has a friend or a friend of a friend that home schools. As the environment changes in the schools this trend will most likely continue to grow.
As I write this new entry I wonder if there aren't more retiring homeschool mom's feeling the way I am. What role can or do we want to have in the homeschooling world. We have been through fire. Tried many things, changed many things and learned even more. Maybe it's time former us to reach out and be there for the younger moms.
